Looks like sand dunes….interesting!
Sculptural, elegant and sophosticated. Puts most other buildings (let alone sub-stations) to shame. Truly a piece of art…

A truely beautiful form! Its composition, form and material choice shows the skill and sensitivity of the architect and makes sense of an otherwise under valued area of the city.
Yeah if only all utility buildings were as interesting and responsive to their surroundings!

Haha well everyone is entitled to their own opinion but Im really pleased with how its worked out and its definatly better than the standard united utilities concrete box sub station.
I agree with Fraser, Daniella and Phil its iconic.
